Colin Field

Colin Field is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in autonomous systems and engineering leadership. Currently serving as the Head of Remote Systems at Ocean Infinity since November 2020, Colin leads a team focused on advancing remote and autonomous operations for survey ships. Prior to this role, Colin worked at Rolls-Royce from January 2013 to November 2020, where notable achievements included leading the development of autonomous control systems and managing a systems engineering team for the Armada Fleet project. Colin's career began with a variety of engineering roles, including placements with the UK Ministry of Defence and internships at Rolls-Royce, complemented by educational qualifications in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Bath and professional engineering training.
