Leverett Bezanson

Leverett Bezanson is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in the field of underwater robotics and systems engineering. Currently serving as Vice President and Engineering Manager at SeeByte, Leverett has also held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Ocean Motion Technologies since May 2018. Previous roles include Head of Engineering at Teledyne SeaBotix, Inc., where responsibilities encompassed all technical decisions and staff performance assessments, and a System Design Engineer at SeaBotix. With a foundation in electrical and software engineering from Progeny Systems and a research fellowship at NURC, Leverett possesses specialties in system architecture design, advanced power design, analog circuitry, and embedded control system programming. Additional experience includes ownership of Electronic Experts and service as an Avionics Technician in the United States Air Force. Leverett holds a Master of Science in Computer and Electrical Engineering from UC San Diego and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from San Diego State University.
