Jessica Johnston

Jessica Johnston, CPHR has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jessica is currently working at Ocean Wise as the Director of Human Resources, starting in March 2022. Prior to that, Jessica had a long tenure at Great Canadian Gaming Corporation, where they held various roles. From October 2021 to February 2022, they served as the Senior Manager of Human Resources and HCM, overseeing HR functions for multiple offices. Jessica also worked as the Manager of Human Resources (Shared Services) from July 2018 to October 2021, and as the Manager of Human Resources & Programs from June 2015 to July 2018. Jessica's career at Great Canadian Gaming Corporation began as an Advisor in Corporate HR & Operations Support in December 2014, followed by a role as a Human Resources Coordinator from June 2012 to December 2014.

At Mulgrave School, Jessica held roles such as Assistant to the Head of School and Office Manager from 2008 to 2012. Jessica also worked as an Administrative Assistant from 2007 to 2008. Before that, they gained experience in the real estate industry, serving as an Administrative Assistant at Prudential Sussex Realty from 2005 to 2007, and as a Front Desk Administrator at Sutton Group - West Coast Realty from 2001 to 2005.

Jessica Johnston, CPHR has obtained a certification in Human Resources Management from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Jessica also holds a certification as a Certified Leader in Workplace Mental Health from Queen's University. Jessica attended Argyle Secondary for their secondary education.
