Brandt Leeuwenburg

Brandt Leeuwenburg is a seasoned professional in engineering and operations management, currently serving as the Continuous Improvement Manager at OceanaGold Corporation since January 2023. Prior to this role, Brandt was the Marine Fleet Manager for Maintenance & Operations at Port Otago from May 2018 to January 2023, overseeing the in-harbour floating fleet. Experience also includes positions as a Maintenance Analysis & Improvement / Reliability Engineer at BHP from November 2012 to February 2018, and Project Engineer/Planner at Rio Tinto Coal Australia from December 2011 to October 2012. Brandt began a career as a Mechanical Project Engineer focused on dragline shutdowns at Wesfarmers Resources from July 2008 to November 2011. Brandt holds a Master of Engineering in Management and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of Canterbury.
