Daniela Alvarez

Daniela Alvarez is a Mining Engineer with extensive experience in various roles within the mining industry. Currently serving as an Engineer in Mine Planning at OceanaGold Corporation since November 2020, Daniela has held positions such as Underground Mining Engineer and Graduate Underground Mine Engineer. Prior experience includes engineering management at ENAMI Nacional Mining Company, where responsibilities included maintaining databases and processing information, and serving as Technical Project Manager at the Ministry of Mining, leading initiatives to regularize small-scale mining operations in Chile. Daniela has also worked as a Project Review Engineer at SONAMI and as a Professor of mine ventilation at the University of La Serena, contributing to both industry and academic fields. Daniela holds a degree in Mining Engineering from Universidad de La Serena, earned in 2009.
