Daniel J. Harris

Daniel J. Harris currently serves as Executive Vice President, Chief Commercial Real Estate Officer, and President of the New York Region at OceanFirst Bank since March 2019. Prior to this role, Daniel was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley Private Bank, NA, focusing on high-net-worth commercial real estate from January 2017 to March 2019. Daniel's extensive experience includes serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer at Dime Savings Bank of Williamsburgh, where responsibilities encompassed managing over $7.4 billion in loan originations in multifamily and commercial real estate over nearly nine years, as well as engaging in loan workouts and holding a leadership position within the Mortgage Bankers Association and the American Bankers Association's Commercial Real Estate Committee. Daniel earned a Juris Doctor from St. John's University School of Law and holds a Bachelor’s Degree from St. John's University.
