Jim Andrews

Senior Scientist at Oceanit

Jim Andrews has worked in various roles in the field of science and technology for over 25 years. From 1995 to 2001, they served as the Deputy for Science and Technology at the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, OPNAV N091. Jim then moved to the Office of Naval Research where they held the role of Assoc Dir Interagency Affairs from 2001 to 2006. Most recently, they have been a Senior Scientist at Oceanit since 2006.

Jim Andrews received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Geology from Amherst College in 1963 after studying there from 1959 to 1963. Jim then went on to obtain their PhD in Oceanography from the University of Miami between 1963 and 1967.
