Mercedes Lovie

Mercedes Lovie, Ed.D., currently serves as Associate Superintendent for Oceanside Unified School District since December 2018. Previously, Mercedes held positions as Executive Leadership Coach at San Diego County Office of Education, Director at Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District, and Principal at both Rowland Unified School District and South Pasadena Unified School District. Additional experience includes serving as Assistant Principal at Glendale Unified School District. Mercedes earned a Doctor of Education degree from the University of Southern California, a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from National University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from California State University, Los Angeles.
