Jan-Hein Jesse

Jan-Hein Jesse is a board member at Oceanteam and has over 20 years of experience in the energy sector. Jan-Hein has held various positions at companies such as AT Capital Pte. Ltd., Centerbridge Partners, L.P., Jesco bv / Josco, and Heerema Marine Contractors. Their most recent position was as managing director at AT Capital Pte. Ltd. from February 2017 to October 2018. Prior to that, they were the managing director at Centerbridge Partners, L.P. from February 2017 to December 2021.

Jesse began their career in 1989 as head of energy finance at ING. Jan-Hein then moved to Shell in 1997 where they spent 13 years as senior manager of acquisitions and divestments for the gas and power and upstream oil and gas divisions. In 2010, they became the chief financial officer at Heerema Marine Contractors. Jan-Hein has been a board member at Oceanteam since October 2018.

Jan-Hein Jesse's educational career includes a New Board Programme from Nyenrode Business University, as well as two MBAs from the same school. Jan-Hein also has a HTS in Civil Engineering from Inholland University of Applied Sciences, and has completed corporate finance education from Chase Manhattan Bank.
