Tim Fischer

Tim Fischer serves as a Global Offshore Wind Alliance Steering Committee Member since June 2024 and has been with Ramboll since September 2011, currently holding the position of Global Executive Director and VP of the Wind Business. With expertise in both onshore and offshore wind, Tim has significantly expanded Ramboll's offshore wind consultancy, achieving over 25% annual organic growth and establishing a global presence through new offices in several countries. Tim's career includes vital roles in driving growth and service expansion within the wind energy sector, engagement with organizations like ForWind and the Business Network for Offshore Wind, and contributions to various research projects and internships that have shaped advancements in wind energy technology. Tim holds a Doctor of Engineering Sciences from the University of Stuttgart, along with advanced degrees in Wind Energy and Mechanical Engineering from DTU and Hochschule Trier, respectively.
