Shanks Budhavarapu

Shanks Budhavarapu has over 20 years of experience in the field of data, business intelligence, and cloud infrastructure. Currently, they are the Director of Data, BI & Cloud at OceanX, LLC, where they lead teams and collaborates with clients and business executives to enhance the company's DTC subscription eCommerce platform. Prior to this, Shanks served as the Director of Data and Business Intelligence at OceanX, overseeing the development and implementation of data, BI, and analytics products.

Before joining OceanX, Shanks worked at Guthy|Renker as the Manager of Business Intelligence and Data. In this role, they led the delivery of data warehousing and BI implementations, focusing on solving business problems. During their tenure at Guthy|Renker, Shanks gained valuable experience in the direct-to-consumer industry.

Additionally, Shanks has worked as a Senior Business Intelligence Consultant at Trinus Corporation, where they provided their expertise in BI. Shanks also held the position of Business Intelligence Lead at Fisher-Price, where they led BI projects and developed solutions for sales, forecasting, planning, and inventory control.

Shanks began their career as a Business Intelligence Specialist at Tata Consultancy Services, where they gained early experience in the field.

Throughout their career, Shanks has consistently showcased their abilities in designing and implementing data solutions and leveraging BI to drive business success.

Shanks Budhavarapu completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management Information Systems, General at T A Pai Management Institute, Manipal, from 1996 to 1998. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering, spanning from 1991 to 1995.
