Jerry Moore

Jerry Moore has over twenty years of work experience in software engineering and development. Jerry began their career in 1998 as an Engineering Specialist at Systems & Electronics Inc., where they worked on the Airport Concourse Egress System (ACES) Project. In 2001, they moved to A.G. Edwards as a Programmer/Analyst, where they mentored other developers in Java, C, C++, VB, RUP, design patterns, and best practices. From 2004 to 2007, they worked as a Senior Java Developer/Contractor for TDK Technologies LLC at Nestlé Purina North America. In 2007, they joined TDK Technologies as a Senior Java Developer and worked on the TDK Timecard Project (In House). That same year, they also worked as a Senior Java Developer/Contractor for TDK Technologies LLC at MasterCard on the MasterCard Payment Gateway (MPG) Projects. From 2014 to 2018, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Monsanto Company and then as a Senior Software Engineer at Bayer Crop Science. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer/Solutions Architect at Ocelot Consulting, helping clients to modernize their infrastructure and taking the journey with them toward an Agile and DevOps-friendly environment. Jerry is also working on the Automated Underwriting and Risk Analysis (AURA) Federated SSO Project.

Jerry Moore attended the University of Missouri-Columbia from 1990 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering. Jerry then returned to the University of Missouri-Columbia from 1996 to 1998 to obtain a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Engineering. In February 2020, they obtained an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
