Laurent Orlandini has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Laurent currently works at Ocergy as a Project Manager starting in 2022. Their career began as a Mechanical and Materials Engineer Trainee at Rio Tinto Alcan.

Laurent Orlandini began their education in 2002 at Grenoble INP - UGA, where they obtained an engineering master's degree in mechanical and materials engineering in 2005. In 2002, they also attended Grenoble INP - Ense3 and received a degree in Ingenieur de l'ENSHMG, specializing in Mecanique et matériaux.

In 2015, Laurent attended IFP School, although the field of study is not specified. In 2018, they briefly studied Wind Energy at DTU - Technical University of Denmark.

Additionally, Laurent Orlandini has obtained several certifications. In November 2017, they obtained the PMP certification from the Project Management Institute. In July 2018, they completed Major Emergency Management Initial Response Training from Petrofac Training Services. Laurent also acquired BOSIET certification in June 2018, although the institution is unspecified. Finally, in December 2019, they obtained GWO work at height certification from Cresto AB.
