Laurent Orlandini

Laurent Orlandini has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Laurent currently works at Ocergy as a Project Manager starting in 2022. Prior to that, they were a Project Manager at Principle Power from September 2021 to January 2022. In this role, they were also the Deputy Project Manager for the Kincardine Offshore Floating Windfarm project, overseeing various construction sites in Europe and coordinating quality control activities.

Before Principle Power, Laurent worked at Total Upstream Nigeria Ltd. from 2012 to 2018. Laurent held the role of Offshore Company Site Representative during hook-up and Company Site Representative during EGINA offshore Oil Loading Terminal fabrication. In these positions, they were responsible for supervision, coordination, and management of construction activities, ensuring safety, schedule, cost, and quality objectives were met.

Laurent's earlier experience includes working as a Construction Engineer for AKPO and USAN FPSO projects at Total, a Project Manager at 3C Metal South Africa, and a Mechanical and Materials Engineer at Thales Avionics. Their career began as a Mechanical and Materials Engineer Trainee at Rio Tinto Alcan.

Laurent Orlandini began their education in 2002 at Grenoble INP - UGA, where they obtained an engineering master's degree in mechanical and materials engineering in 2005. In 2002, they also attended Grenoble INP - Ense3 and received a degree in Ingenieur de l'ENSHMG, specializing in Mecanique et matériaux.

In 2015, Laurent attended IFP School, although the field of study is not specified. In 2018, they briefly studied Wind Energy at DTU - Technical University of Denmark.

Additionally, Laurent Orlandini has obtained several certifications. In November 2017, they obtained the PMP certification from the Project Management Institute. In July 2018, they completed Major Emergency Management Initial Response Training from Petrofac Training Services. Laurent also acquired BOSIET certification in June 2018, although the institution is unspecified. Finally, in December 2019, they obtained GWO work at height certification from Cresto AB.
