Kavon Wynia has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Kavon began their career as a Porter at The Autobarn of Evanston while still in high school, where they provided customer assistance and maintained the showroom. After that, they worked as a Research Assistant at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine, where they conducted literature reviews, data entry, and recruited patients for research studies. Following this, Kavon worked as a Leasing Coordinator at Trio Property Management, managing multiple leases and handling tenant issues.

In 2015, Kavon joined OCHIN, Inc., where they held various roles over the years. Kavon started as an Account Manager, creating and maintaining executive business relationships with existing members. Kavon then served as a Financial Analyst and a Salesforce Administrator before transitioning to a Business Development role. As a Business Development Executive, Kavon identified and responded to requests for OCHIN products and services, provided product information and demonstrations, and partnered with Finance and Legal for contracting and pricing. Kavon was later promoted to be a Business Development Executive Manager and eventually became the Director of Business Development, overseeing the company's business growth strategies.

Kavon Wynia attended Evanston Township Highschool from 2006 to 2010. Kavon then studied Economics at the University of Oregon from 2010 to 2014, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree.
