Akshay Buradkar

Akshay Buradkar has a diverse range of work experience spanning over 19 years. Akshay is currently the Co-Founder and CTO of OCHO. Prior to this role, they served as the Sr. Director of Engineering at Bond from September 2020 to February 2021.

Akshay held various positions at Aura from 2013 to 2020, including Vice President of Product and Engineering, Senior Director of Engineering, and Principal Software Engineer.

Before joining Aura, they worked at Intuit as a Staff Software Engineer from October 2012 to December 2013. In this role, they played a vital role in developing a new E-invoicing platform and was responsible for third-party integration efforts and API design.

From 2009 to 2012, Akshay was a Principal Software Engineer at Oportun, where they contributed to the development of a loan origination platform for underbanked Hispanic population. Akshay also led the development of various modules, such as payment processing, collections, and risk assessment.

Earlier in their career, Akshay worked as a Software Engineer at Imetris from 2006 to 2009. Akshay'sresponsibilities included developing software tools for clients such as Cisco, Sempra Utilities, and NY State Dept of Taxation and Finance.

Akshay started their career at Infosys as a Software Engineer from 2003 to 2006 and previously worked as a Software Analyst at Kanbay from 2002 to 2003.

Akshay Buradkar completed their high school education at Modern College of Arts, Science & Commerce Shivajinagar, Pune from 1996 to 1998. Akshay then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at COEP Technological University from 1998 to 2002.
