James Gutierrez

James Gutierrez is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of OCHO, a company they started in 2021. Prior to this, they were the Managing Partner and Founder of INSIKT Capital, where they established a $4 million venture capital fund focused on fintech and consumer industries. James also served on the Board of Directors and as Vice-Chair of the Silicon Valley Leadership Group, a business organization addressing various issues affecting the region. In addition, Gutierrez was a Member of the Board of Trustees for Katherine, an independent girls' school, and an Investor at Finix. James served on the Board of Directors for SEO, a non-profit organization assisting minority high school students in college preparatory programs. Gutierrez is also the Co-Founder, CEO, and Board Member of Aura, a company aimed at bringing economic justice to minorities, Latinos, and low-income families. James Gutierrez completed their MBA in General Management from Stanford University Graduate School of Business from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they obtained their BA in Economics from Yale University between 1995 and 1999.
