Fabio Sanna

Fabio Sanna is an accomplished professional in the field of scientific research and innovation, currently serving as the Head of Innovation and Principal Scientist II at Ochre Bio since July 2021. Prior to this role, Fabio held multiple distinguished positions, including Honorary Research Fellow in Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Gastroenterology at The University of Manchester and Postdoctoral Research Fellow in an MRC programme at the University of Oxford. Previous experience includes a role as Research Scientist at Novo Nordisk and a Post-doctoral Research Associate at the University of Oxford, among others. Fabio began academic pursuits as a Graduate Research Fellow and PhD Student at Università degli Studi "G. d'Annunzio" Chieti - Pescara. Education was completed with a Laurea specialistica in Chimica e tecnologia farmaceutiche from Università degli Studi 'Gabriele d'Annunzio'​ di Chieti in 2008.
