Cheri Barry has a diverse work experience, spanning various industries and positions. Cheri began their career as the owner/manager of Bonnie Jean's and BJ's Alley in 1985, where they stayed until 2001. Cheri then joined The American Red Cross as the Executive Director from 2001 to 2009. Following that, they served as the Mayor of The City of Meridian from 2009 to 2013, during which they focused on building a strong community and improving the quality of life for its residents. From 2014 onwards, Cheri worked at The Foundation for Rush, first as a Consultant and later as the President. This not-for-profit organization aimed to support and advance the healthcare and quality of life in Rush.
Cheri Barry earned their Bachelor's Degree from the University of Mississippi in the period from 1974 to 1977.
