Rosie Cush

Rosie Cush has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and positions. Rosie started their career as a Senior Principal Scientist at GEC-Marconi (formerly Plessey) in 1984 and worked there until 1999. During this time, they gained expertise in photonics engineering. In 1990, they joined GEC Marconi, Caswell as a Senior Principal Scientist and continued until 1998.

In 1999, Rosie moved to Marconi Networks, where they took on the role of Senior Photonics Engineer until 2002. Rosie then joined Bookham in 2002 as the Gratings Fab Team Leader, managing a team of engineers and technicians dedicated to laser grating manufacture. Their responsibilities included day-to-day running of the fab, capacity planning, documentation, and technical expertise in laser grating fabrication. Rosie remained with Bookham until 2007.

Rosie then joined Bookham Technology in 2007 as a Manufacturing Manager, where they worked until 2009. Finally, they joined OCLARO in 2009 and held two positions there. First, they worked as a Senior Research Scientist from 2009 to 2011. Then, they took on the role of InP PIC Chip Engineering Manager from 2011 onwards.

Throughout their career, Rosie has demonstrated expertise in photonics engineering, manufacturing management, and laser grating fabrication.

Rosie Cush obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Oxford between 1981 and 1984.
