Neil Murphy, CCM, PSP has over 20 years of experience in the construction management industry. Neil is currently the President of O'Connor Construction Management, Inc., where they have held various leadership positions since 2000. Throughout their career, Neil has been responsible for business development, regional profit and loss management, staff augmentation assignments, construction, cost and schedule management, constructability reviews, and marketing functions in the Southern California market. Neil'sexpertise spans diverse sectors such as mixed-use, student housing, engineering and lab facilities, higher education, federal, K-12, institutional, heavy civil, water/wastewater, and commercial projects. Prior to joining O'Connor Construction Management, Neil held roles at Graycor Construction Company as an Estimator - Project Engineer and at E.W. Corrigan Construction Company as a Project Engineer. Additionally, they served as an Adjunct Instructor at NewSchool of Architecture + Design. Neil's experience includes construction management, owner's representation, preconstruction services, cost estimating, value engineering, contractor coordination, change order negotiation, dispute resolution, scheduling, document control, quality control, and inspection oversight.

Neil Murphy, CCM, PSP completed their education at the Illinois Institute of Technology from 1993 to 1998, where they obtained a BSc - Honors degree in Civil Engineering. Prior to that, they attended St. Ignatius College Prep from 1989 to 1993, but they did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. In addition to their educational background, Neil Murphy has obtained several certifications. Neil became a Smartsheet Product Certified User in October 2019, and in April 2015, they became a Certified Construction Manager (CCM) through the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA).
