Amarjit S Basra

Amarjit S Basra is a Chief Scientist at OCP North America, a global plant nutrition company. Prior to this, they held roles as a Principal Advisor at Larta Institute, Principal Scientist at Plant Impact, Senior Research Scientist at Syngenta, Monsanto, and UC Davis, as well as a Botanist at Punjab Agricultural University. With extensive experience in plant physiology and biochemistry, they have conducted research on various aspects of plant growth, nitrogen use efficiency, and stress tolerance in different crops. They also have a background in seed physiology and development. Amarjit is a Ph.D. holder in Plant Physiology & Biochemistry and has undertaken executive leadership education at Harvard Business School.
