Emily Hendley has 10 years of work experience. Emily began their career in 2010 as a Business Analyst - Consulting with BSG (UK). In 2012, they worked as a Business Analyst (Consulting then to Contract) with Think Education Group and as a Business Analyst - Consulting with Planit Test Management Solutions. From 2013 to 2014, they were the Co-Founder & Director of Have You Heard Events. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Business Analyst Contract with Transport for NSW. In 2016, they worked as a Senior Business Analyst Contract with Charter Hall. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Senior Business Analyst Contract with nbn™ Australia. Since 2018, they have been a Product Owner with Temenos, and since 2021, they have been a Product Owner with OCR Labs.

Emily Hendley has a diverse educational background. Emily attended The High School of Glasgow from 1997 to 2004. In 2004, they went on to pursue a BSc Honours in Information Systems and Management from Newcastle University, which they completed in 2007. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including a How to Set Goals When Everything Feels Like a Priority from LinkedIn in 2022, a SAFe for Teams Course 4.5 from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2018, a Certified Scrum Product Owner from Scrum Alliance in 2014, an Associate Member of the BCS from Chartered Institute of IT in 2013, a Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis from ISEB / BCS in 2013, a Modelling Business Processes Certificate from ISEB / BCS in 2013, a Requirements Engineering Certificate from ISEB / BCS in 2012, and a PRINCE2 Foundation from ILX in 2010.
