Matthew Lopez has a diverse work experience in supply chain and logistics. Matthew began their career at Bison Transport Inc. as a Fleet Dispatcher and Customs Administrator from 2007 to 2008. Matthew then worked at DHL Global Forwarding Canada as an Ocean Export Coordinator in 2008-2009. From 2009 to 2016, they held various roles at Walmart Canada, including Replenishment Analyst and Replenishment Manager in the Grocery, Electronics, Dairy, and Frozen categories. Matthew then joined LCBO as a Replenishment Manager and later became the Supply Chain Lead from 2016 to 2018. Currently, they are employed at OCS Ontario Cannabis Store, where they have held positions such as Demand & Fulfillment Manager, Senior Manager of Supply Chain & Inventory Management, and currently serves as the Director of Logistics.
Matthew Lopez holds a Masters Certificate in Supply Chain & Logistics Management from the Schulich School of Business - York University, obtained in 2017. In 2018, they completed a Product Management program at BrainStation. Matthew earned an Advanced Diploma in Logistics & Supply Chain from Humber College, which they attended from 2006 to 2009. In 2017, Matthew completed the Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits from the Independent Wine Education Guild, specializing in Beverage Alcohol. Additionally, they received certification in Prud'homme Beer from Prud'homme Beer Certification® in 2016. Matthew also completed the Retail Supply Chain Certification Program from Accenture Academy in 2012 and 2013, focusing on Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management.
