Nat Sherden

Nathaniel Sherden is currently the VP Chemistry at Octagon Therapeutics, where Nathaniel started and leads the Medicinal Chemistry department. Previously, Nathaniel worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at John Innes Centre focusing on gene discovery in medicinal plants and synthetic biology, and at Massachusetts Institute of Technology as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the O’Connor Lab. Nathaniel also served as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at California Institute of Technology and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Chicago. Nathaniel holds a PhD in Chemistry from Caltech and BS degrees in Chemistry and Computer Science from the University of Chicago.
