Theo Tarver

Theo Tarver is a Research Associate at Octant. Theo has over eleven years of experience in scientific research and laboratory administration. Theo's previous positions include Research Specialist/Lab Manager at the University of California, San Francisco and Scientist II - Development, Product Care at Roche Molecular Systems. Theo's technical scientific duties have included maintenance of cell lines, processing of human blood and bone marrow samples, antibody staining/FACS analysis, nucleic acid analysis including RT-PCR, quantitative PCR, sequencing, site-directed mutagenesis, and DNA and RNA electrophoresis, protein analysis including protein electrophoresis and Western blotting, plasmid cloning/preparation, transfection and retroviral infection of cell lines, cellular proliferation, cytotoxicity, and drug synergy assays.

Theo Tarver has a B.S. in Biology from the University of San Francisco.
