Stephan Maack

Stephan Maack, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Clinical Project Manager at Octapharma since February 2021. Previously, Stephan held the position of Senior Director of Medical Affairs at Molecular Partners AG in Zurich, Switzerland, where responsibilities included increasing sponsor visibility and enhancing engagement with investigational sites. Stephan also served as Senior Director of Clinical Operations, overseeing the clinical trial portfolio and vendor relationships. Prior to this, Stephan was the Head of Clinical Operations at Roche for over 16 years, managing a team of over 15 and ensuring operational quality across more than 30 studies. Stephan's early career includes roles at the Institute for Medical Outcome Research (IMOR) GmbH, focusing on the monitoring of medical device studies in cardiology. Stephan earned a PhD in Biology from the University of Regensburg between 1987 and 1996.
