Imran S. is an experienced software development engineer in test (SDET) currently serving as the Lead SDET at Octaura since July 2023, where Imran designed and built an end-to-end automated test pipeline framework utilizing Playwright, PyTest, and Artillery libraries in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python. Prior to this role, Imran held the position of Senior SDET at Goldman Sachs from March 2021 to July 2023, focusing on developing an automated test framework for the CI/CD pipeline and overseeing CI stages on GitLab. At J.Crew, from December 2018 to March 2021, Imran served as Lead Automation Engineer, managing teams and creating a testing framework for an e-commerce site. Imran began the career as Chapter Lead and Automation Engineer at Frontline Education from April 2016 to November 2018, where management of a QA team and professional development goals was a key responsibility. Imran holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from The City College of New York.
