Mike Edgeworth

Mike Edgeworth, MD, currently serves as the Chief Population Health Officer at Octave since May 2021. Previously, Mike held the position of Regional Senior Medical Executive for Cigna Medicare in the Southeast Region from June 2014 to May 2021, overseeing a team of medical directors to enhance medical cost competitiveness and quality outcomes. Additionally, Mike was a Senior Medical Director in the Physician Leadership Development Program at Cigna-HealthSpring from June 2014 to August 2019. Prior experience includes work as a Neurologist at HCA Healthcare from December 2008 to June 2014 and as an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center from July 2005 to December 2008. Mike holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center, a Master's degree in Clinical Investigation from Vanderbilt University, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Mississippi State University.
