Andrew Gallion has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several decades. Andrew started their career as a Systems Engineer at NGA in 1989, where they worked until 2000. Andrew then joined SAIC, where they served as a Program Manager/Chief Systems Engineer for intelligence community programs for a decade. In 2010, Andrew became the Director of Intel Programs at Oceus Networks. Andrew later joined S2 Analytical Solutions, LLC in 2011 as a Systems Engineer. Andrew joined Southern New Hampshire University in 2014 as an Adjunct Faculty Member. Most recently, they are working as a Principal Systems Engineer at Octo (formerly Volant Associates) since September 2019.

Andrew Gallion has a strong educational background in engineering management and systems engineering. Andrew obtained a Doctor of Science degree from The George Washington University between 1996 and 1999. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science degree in geodetic science and surveying from The Ohio State University from 1992 to 1993. Andrew began their academic journey by completing a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in geography/geographic information systems from Virginia Tech, where they studied from 1984 to 1989.
