Matt Dewar

Matt Dewar possesses extensive experience in television production and development, currently serving as Head of Development UK and Senior Development Producer at October Films since July 2012. In this role, responsibilities include originating, pitching, and developing series and singles across all factual genres for both UK and US broadcasters, while also managing the UK development team. Prior experience includes a position as Development AP at BBC from July 2011 to July 2012, focusing on BBC Three content, and serving as Edit Producer for Channel 4’s 4thought.tv from November 2009 to June 2011. Matt also held roles at Wildcard Production Ltd as Development AP and Researcher/AP. Matt Dewar holds a degree in Geography from the University of Oxford and completed education at Merchant Taylors' School.
