Mike McGahren-Clemens

Mike McGahren-Clemens has extensive experience in engineering and management, currently serving as Cellar Manager at Octopi since January 2021, where responsibilities include overseeing GMP operations, writing and reviewing SOPs, and managing various cellar processes. Prior experience includes several roles at BASF from 2015 to 2020, including Production Engineer and PDP roles focusing on process optimization and mechanical integrity, where operational improvements and automation were implemented. Mike's background also features leadership as Project Co-President at BLUElab India, developing sustainable technologies in communities, and various internships at BASF in process and project engineering. Academically, Mike holds a B.S.E. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
