David Yan

David Yan is a Senior Software Engineer at Octopus Deploy since August 2022, with a robust background in software engineering spanning over a decade. Prior to this role, David worked as a Software Engineer at Vista Entertainment Solutions Limited from February 2016 to July 2022, focusing on frontend development using Typescript, React, and React Native, as well as backend development in C#. Earlier experience includes a position at Sandfield, where David contributed to the core functionality of a freight management system and participated in in-house development with C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, and web technologies. David holds a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Computer Systems Engineering from The University of Auckland, completed in 2014, and attended Papatoetoe High School from 2006 to 2010.
