With a background in civil engineering, Bilal has transitioned into investment management focusing on energy transition projects such as heat, hydrogen, e-fuels, and geothermal energy. Prior to their current role, Bilal also worked as a business development analyst and held various engineering positions. Additionally, Bilal has served as a governor for Bishop Vesey's Grammar School.
