Ali Teeney

Ali Teeney serves as the Global Head of ML & AI at Kraken Technologies, a division of Octopus Energy, since October 2017. Under this role, Ali initiated the data science function for Octopus Energy's Japanese operations and expanded a team focused on serving the company and its clients across the Asia-Pacific region. Previously, Ali worked at Brainlabs from September 2015 to February 2017 as a Senior Applications Developer and Data Team Lead, where responsibilities included developing tools for ETL processes, creating predictive models for advertising, implementing machine learning solutions for auction bidding, and mentoring a team of developers. Ali holds a Master of Mathematics (MMath) degree from the University of Oxford.
