Ankur Bhatia

Ankur Bhatia has extensive work experience in the technology and engineering field. Ankur is currently serving as the Head of Engineering at Kraken Technologies, leading the engineering team for the water and broadband sector. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Engineering at Octopus Energy.

Ankur's previous roles include working at Stripe as an Engineering Leader, where they developed embedded finance products and managed a payment volume of $60 million per month. Ankur also gained experience as a Consultant, specializing in B2B scheduling and roster management systems, and as the CTO at HomeServe Plc, where they built a platform for homeowners to find tradesmen for emergencies and repairs.

Before these roles, Ankur served as the CTO at Hostmaker, a proptech company that offers home rentals management services. Ankur also worked as a Solutions Architect and Technical Lead at comparethemarket.com, where they were involved in a large-scale digital transformation project and the implementation of identity providers.

Ankur started their career as a Software Engineer at Tavant Technologies. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong leadership skills, expertise in engineering, and a proficiency in various technologies and platforms.

Ankur Bhatia attended the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee from 2002 to 2006. During this time, they pursued a B.Tech degree in Computer Science And Engineering. In December 2021, Ankur obtained a certification in "How to Inspire and Develop Your Direct Reports" from LinkedIn.
