Emmanuel Bavoux

Emmanuel Bavoux currently serves as the Head of Data and R&D at Octopus Energy since May 2023 and has been an investor at Time for the Planet, an initiative focused on combating climate change, since January 2021. Previously, Emmanuel held the role of Head of Data at Free2Move from March 2018 to May 2023 and worked as a Big Data Engineer at Thales between October 2017 and March 2018, where significant accomplishments included event classification and real-time state forecasting using advanced technologies. Other experience includes data analysis at citéxia conseil, a strategic consultant internship at SECAFI, and seasonal employment at Crédit Agricole Cards & Payments. Educational qualifications encompass a Master’s degree in Economics and Public Policy from Sciences Po, ENSAE, and École Polytechnique, alongside a Master 2 in Data Science from Université Paris-Saclay.
