Helen Mitchell currently serves as the Lady Mayoress of Portsmouth and the Deputy Lady Mayoress. With extensive experience in customer service and operations, Helen is also an Operations Manager at Octopus Energy and has been a Mental Health First Aider with Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England since April 2018. Helen's previous role as Customer Experience Hub Lead at Shell Energy further highlights a strong background in customer experience management. Additionally, Helen has held various key positions at SSE plc over a two-decade career, showcasing expertise in employee experience, communications, and customer service. As a freelance designer since 2008, Helen also brings a creative perspective, backed by a degree in Communication Design from the University of Portsmouth.
