Philip Steele

Philip Steele is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the technology and energy sectors. Currently serving as the Future Technologies Evangelist at Octopus Energy since September 2019, Philip is responsible for innovation in tariffs, IoT, and energy services. Prior to this role, Philip founded and led nCube Smart Home, a pioneering IoT platform, from January 2013 until its acquisition by Octopus Energy. Philip's experience also includes consulting roles at Sentaca Consulting and mAdme, where responsibilities encompassed product delivery and strategy for mobile operators. Throughout a career beginning at O2, Philip has developed expertise in product management, project management, and the delivery of technology solutions. Philip holds an MBA from Cranfield University and a BEng in Electronic Communication & Computer Engineering from the University of Bradford.
