Daniel Chapman-Harris has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Daniel began their career as a Tax Associate at Deloitte, where they gained experience in corporate tax compliance and advisory services. Daniel then moved to Ernst & Young, working as a Tax Advisor for their Real Estate Tax team. During their time at EY, they focused on client relationship management and expanding services beyond tax compliance.
In 2011, Daniel joined Teach First as a Maths Teacher and Professional Mentor. Daniel took on a leadership role, designing and delivering a Continuing Professional Development program for trainee and newly qualified teachers. This experience sparked their interest in adult learning and supporting others in honing their skills.
In 2014, Daniel joined EY's Knowledge organization as the Global Tax Knowledge Awareness and Adoption Lead. Daniel developed strategies to increase awareness and adoption of tax knowledge tools and resources globally, reaching almost 40,000 people. Daniel later transitioned to the role of Culture Lead, designing and delivering programs focused on embedding a knowledge culture within the organization.
In 2019, Daniel joined Lloyds Banking Group as a Content Strategist, responsible for designing and driving the delivery of content strategies for the Insurance & Wealth division. Daniel also served as the Design Community Lead, supporting the learning and development needs of the Design community within LBG.
Currently, Daniel is working at Octopus Investments as the Head of Learning and Development, overseeing the development and implementation of learning programs within the organization.
Daniel Chapman-Harris has a diverse education history. In 2002 to 2005, they studied at the University of Warwick and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classical Civilisation. In 2008 to 2009, they attended Tolleys and earned an ATT certification in Taxation. In 2011 to 2012, they pursued a PGCE degree in Mathematics Teacher Education at The Institute of Education, U. of London. It is worth noting that the obtained month for their additional certifications is not provided. In 2014, Daniel became a Leadership Coach for the Teach First program through BEYOND NOW LIMITED. Additionally, they received an EY Digital - Bronze certification from EY in 2018 and is currently in the process of completing a National Certificate in Workplace Mediation, accredited by OCN London, to be obtained in 2023.
