Uthish Ranjan

Uthish sits in the B2B Software Team and focuses on making investments into companies that are at the scale-up phase of their growth.

Prior to joining Octopus Ventures in 2018, Uthish spent over six years in the private equity buyout industry; initially as an investor in Dubai and Singapore and then as an M&A advisor at Barclays Investment Bank in London, where he executed buyouts in the B2B Services and Technology verticals ranging from £100m to £3bn in transaction value.

Uthish graduated with a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Imperial College London. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking and exploring and is known for his moves on the dance floor!
