Erwin Richard

Erwin Richard has extensive experience in IT consulting and software architecture, currently serving as a Freelance Consultant at Insurance since December 2016, where development of an automation tool for web application firewall infrastructure has been pivotal. As the owner of richard IT consulting since August 2000, and a Software Architect/Partner at Octosoft AG since January 2014, Erwin has led the design and development of a multi-platform inventory system focused on Software Asset Management. Previous roles include freelance consulting at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, BIT, and Hewlett-Packard, where contributions to automation and application deployment were significant. Technical leadership was demonstrated at it-base GmbH, focusing on software license management tools, complemented by foundational roles in IT architecture and system administration dating back to the 1980s, alongside an educational background in pedagogy.
