Chris Bertz

Chris Bertz has extensive experience in clinical research and project management. Chris currently holds the position of Associate Director of Clinical Operations at Ocular Therapeutix, Inc. Chris previously worked as a Clinical Project Manager at the same company. Prior to that, Chris worked as a Principal and Managing Member at Catalyst Biopharma Services, LLC. Chris also served as a Senior Project Manager at Health Decisions. Chris has experience in the pharmaceutical industry, having worked as a Clinical Program Manager at Gilead Sciences. Chris has also held positions such as Project Manager at Lineberry Research Associates/Constella Group/SRA International and Project Director and Project Manager at The EMMES Corporation. Chris began their career as a Clinical Operations Assistant at Clinical Cardiovascular Research, LLC (C2R).

Chris Bertz attended the University of Maryland from 1994 to 1999 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Physiology and Neurobiology. In April 2003, they obtained a certification as a Certified Clinical Research Associate (CCRA) from the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP).
