Sigríður Ásta Guðmundsdóttir

Sigríður Ásta Guðmundsdóttir has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Sigríður Ásta began their career as a Pharmacist at Lyf og heilsa in June 2013 and worked in that role until August 2018. In August 2018, they joined Oculis as a Formulation Scientist and later transitioned to the role of Formulation Project Manager in August 2021. Sigríður Ásta also worked as a QC/QA specialist at Ísteka from April 2016 to May 2018. Prior to that, they were a Project Manager at the University of Iceland - Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology from September 2013 to March 2016.

Sigríður Ásta Guðmundsdóttir obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Háskóli Íslands between 2008 and 2011. Sigríður Ásta then pursued further education at the same institution and earned a Master's Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from 2011 to 2013. In addition to their degrees, Sigríður also obtained a certification in "Estimation of measurement uncertainty in chemical analysis" from the University of Tartu in April 2015.
