Jacob Williams

Jacob Williams has a significant amount of work experience in machine learning and research. Jacob is currently working as a Machine Learning Engineer at Ocuvera since May 2021. Prior to this, they were a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln from 2013 to 2019. Jacob also had a brief internship as a Machine Learning Intern at Ocuvera in 2016. Jacob has worked as a Machine Learning and Optimization Contractor at Orca – Fearless Among Sharks in 2015, and as a Program Specialist at the State of Nebraska from 2014 to 2015. Their earliest work experience includes roles as a Graduate Research Assistant and Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln from 2009 to 2012, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant from 2006 to 2008.

Jacob Williams has a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Mathematics and Psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Jacob also holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same university. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
