Melissa Barlow

Melissa Barlow has worked in the beauty industry for over 16 years. In 2004, they began their career as a Counter Manager at Macy's/Prescriptives Cosmetics, where they supervised, trained and motivated 3 associates, and was responsible for sales results, shrink control, merchandising and evaluations. In 2005, they moved to Beauty Collection, where they stocked and restocked inventory when shipments were received, worked closely with the district managers to formulate and build cosmetics sales, and wrote order supply requests to replenish merchandise. From 2007 to 2012, Melissa was a Front Desk Coordinator at Bruno and Soonie Salon, where they coordinated and booked all client appointments for over fourteen stylists, greeted all guests and assisted them with requests and special services, and tracked and effectively managed client flow throughout the salon. From 2012 to 2016, Melissa was a Floor Operations Manager at Wittlebee, where they directed and supervised employees engaged in daily operations, raised daily order fulfillment by 400%, completed weekly schedules according to payroll policies, and set up cross-promotional campaigns and sales across social media. From 2016 to 2018, Melissa was an Account Coordinator at (MALIN+GOETZ), where they built and maintained relationships with multiple luxury retailers to meet sales plans, successfully trained sales associates on product knowledge, and organized training for large accounts. Finally, from 2018 to 2021, Melissa was an Account Coordinator and Wholesale Manager/Coordinator at Indie Lee & Co., where they developed and maintained relationships with management and staff to ensure sales goals are met, conducted full line launch training and product launch micro training sessions across multiple retailers, and successfully integrated from a single brand model to a multi brand model. Currently, Melissa is a Wholesale Manager and Wholesale Coordinator at Odacité Skincare.

Melissa Barlow completed a Master Makeup Artistry program at Make-up Designory in 2001. Melissa then attended Los Angeles Valley College from 2005 to 2009, studying Business Administration and Management, General.
