Carolina Fernandez Maestri

Carolina Fernandez Maestri has had a varied career in the sustainability and environmental fields. Carolina began their career in 2008 as an Environmental Consultant for ERM: Environmental Resources Management. In 2010, they took on an Innovation Intern role at Alstom Power. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as a Corporate Sustainability Specialist and Corporate Sustainability Sr. Analyst for Companhia Sider\u00fargica Nacional. In 2014, they became a Corporate Environmental Consultant for InterCement. In 2016, they held three positions: United Nations MBA Summer Associate, MBA Summer Associate for Ita\u00fa Unibanco, and Strategy MBA Summer Associate for ODATA. In 2018, they were a Consultant for Bain & Company, and in 2019 they became ESG Sr. Manager and Head of ESG for Grupo Botic\u00e1rio. Currently, they are the ESG & EHS Director for ODATA.

Carolina Fernandez Maestri received their Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from Escola Politécnica da USP in 2007. In 2010-2011, they obtained their Master of Science (MS) in Innovation from UVSQ Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines. From 2015-2018, they received their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business and their Master of Science - MS in Sustainability from the University of Michigan - Rackham Graduate School. In 2015, they also obtained their Sustainability Certificate from Harvard University, Extension School. In 2017, they obtained their Responsible Investment Essentials and Responsible Investment Fundamentals certificates from the Principles for Responsible Investment. Finally, in 2021, they obtained their CFA ESG - Certificate in ESG Investing from the CFA Institute.
