Mertbora Erbay

Mertbora Erbay is an experienced data professional with a background in machine learning and data science. Currently serving as an Expert Machine Learning Engineer and Expert Data Scientist at Odeabank since August 2022, Mertbora has developed a fraud detection machine learning model and contributed to investment fund algorithms. Previous roles include Junior Data Scientist, where Mertbora focused on deploying personalized machine learning models and predictive models for customer churn, and Management Trainee Data Engineer, with responsibilities in database management and model migration. Mertbora's experience also encompasses a project as a Project Engineer at FNSS Savunma Sistemleri A.Ş., where a decision support system was developed for configuration change management. Mertbora began the career as a Data Analyst intern at PwC Turkey, contributing to automation projects, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Bilkent University.
