Maya Behar

Maya Behar has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Maya is currently working at Odeko as a Talent Acquisition Manager since January 2022. Prior to that, they were a People Operations Coordinator at Odeko from June 2021 to January 2022.

Before joining Odeko, Maya worked at Clutter as a Project Manager - Workforce Development Specialist from February 2019 to March 2020. In this role, they directed training and development for a tech start-up in the storage and warehousing industry, overseeing orientation and operational training for a workforce of 200+ and managing a training team in 9 transnational markets.

From November 2017 to January 2019, Maya was a Special Projects Manager - Workforce Development at First Property Management Solution, a property management company that specialized in managing church properties. Maya successfully matched facilities managers with church administrations and served as the initial contact for HR inquiries.

Maya's experience also includes working as a Human Resources Generalist at Primal Nosh, a pre-made meal delivery service, from February 2016 to September 2017. Maya oversaw the hiring of various positions and played a crucial role in the company's growth.

Additionally, Maya owned and operated their own business called Kitchen Table from March 2012 to May 2014. As an Independent Business Owner, they provided nutritional consulting and pre-made meal delivery services to families, managing all aspects of the business from designing and executing meals to handling bookkeeping, marketing, and day-to-day operations. Maya successfully managed a portfolio of 137 clients and achieved rapid growth and client retention.

Maya Behar completed their undergraduate education from 2003 to 2007 at Vassar College, where they studied Cognitive Science. Following a few years of professional experience, they pursued a Master's of Science degree in Nutrition from the Tufts University Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy, attending from 2011 to 2013.
