Christopher Tolla has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Christopher started their career in 1993 as a Communications Specialist in the United States Air Force. After completing their military service in 1997, they became a self-employed Technology Consultant until 2000. Following that, they joined J Giordano Securities Group as the Chief Technology Officer until 2008. From 2008 to 2010, they worked as the Chief Information Officer at Sidoti & Company, LLC. Christopher then joined Odeon Capital Group in 2010, initially as the Chief Information Officer and later taking on the additional role of Chief Compliance Officer in 2016. In 2017, they moved to Market Regulation Services LLC as the Managing Principal. Overall, Christopher has demonstrated expertise in technology and compliance throughout their career.

From 2000-2002, they pursued an MBA from the University of Connecticut School of Business, specializing in the Management of Technology.

During the same period, they also earned an Advanced Business Certificate in Information Technology from the Connecticut Information Technology Institute.

In 2018, they attended Georgetown University and completed a Certification in Regulatory Compliance, known as Certified Regulatory and Compliance Professional (CRCP).

Additionally, Christopher Tolla has obtained several certifications including the Certified Regulatory and Compliance Professional (CRCP) from FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority). Christopher has also acquired certifications such as GROL from the Federal Communications Commission, and Project+ from CompTIA. Other certifications include Series 24, Series 27, Series 3, Series 4, Series 53, Series 57, Series 66, Series 7, and Series 87, all of which are related to financial industry regulatory authority.
