Paul Barr has extensive experience in the drilling and telecommunications industries, currently serving as a Derrickman at Odfjell Drilling since February 2020. Prior roles include working as a Roughneck and Deck Crew/Drill Crew at Offshore Agency, with significant earlier experience as a Telecommunications Engineer for Kelly Communications Ltd. and various positions as Derrickman, Roughneck, and Roustabout across multiple offshore vessels with companies such as Maersk Drilling and Hercules Offshore. Paul Barr began formal education in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering at Dundee College, following studies at St Saviours High School in Dundee.
